StartUP Visa
The StartUP Visa is a programme designed to welcome foreign entrepreneurs who wish to develop an entrepreneurial and/or innovative project in Portugal.
The aim of this programme is to grant residence visas or residence permits to immigrant entrepreneurs (Regulatory Order No. 4/2018).
It provides for a prior certification process for incubators so that they can act as host organisations, supporting immigrant entrepreneurs in setting up and establishing technology-based businesses.
Certified Organisation
INOVAGAIA is a certified business incubator that welcomes foreign entrepreneurs under this programme, offering all the necessary support to help them set up in Portugal.
HOW CAN INOVAGAIA HELP?
Incubator Certification
It ensures that organisations are able to accommodate third-country nationals. IAPMEI is responsible for assessing, selecting and certifying applications.
Applications from Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs must submit their applications via IAPMEI’s official online platform.
